Nate is the one brother who has absolutely no talent in the music department, and he is quite content with his life which is going according to plan – business school followed by a career at the family's billion-dollar business. He is in charge of legal affairs, finances and developing the company strategies. The one thing in his life that did not go as planned was his love life, as the bride ran away with a musician who was going to play at his own wedding. This is a short and sweet romance that I enjoyed very much. I would have liked to know more about them and their background stories.
Bottom line: Enjoyable, but needed a more careful edit, and a little more depth to the story.

This is a fine read. I wish it were a bit longer, but a very good short story. I enjoyed the reluctance of both Anna and Nate to change from their plans and take a chance. It ended too soon for what I had expected otherwise enjoy the story. I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book, through Reading Deals, so I could give an honest review.

I was surprised by the concept the main character did not enjoy music. I thought it was a delightful romance but wished it would have been a little longer. I enjoy a happy ending to escape to. It is light and easy to read.
This book was a quick read, and could have used some additional character development as the characters and their stories were very likeable. There were some minor typos that were sprinkled throughout the book but didnt impact the readability.
The writing style was nice and would lead me to read more by this author.

A sweet romance between Anne and Nate. He's a numbers guy, a billionaire and a dislike for all things musical. Amazing how having your fiance run off with the wedding musician can cloud your vision. Then comes Anne and his world is forever changed. Plenty of drama and some turmoil but his life is forever changed. I read an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to review. Well written with great characters and an entertaining story.
"I have admired you from afar...."
Usually that line is so cheesy, but here it was actually really sweet. The main characters make a good couple, and the fact they've distantly known each other for years saves their relationship from having moved WAY too fast! Nate discovers his potential as a potential child caregiver/ parent, and as a musical entity, all thanks to that one special woman.

Cute, quick read. I read the review copy in a few hours. It escalated a little quickly for my particular taste...I would have liked to read about the build up of dating, chatting on the phone, etc instead of just being told that it had happened but, I know that others prefer to skip to the “good stuff”. I appreciated the single mom aspect & the emphasis on the child being okay with & included in this new relationship. I think it’s important for that very real part of adult dating to be represented in a positive light.
Talk of a good write, and there you have it. Amerine Graham pens down an engrossing and a mind blowing read!
Born of a music family, Nate seems exceptional as any presence of a musical instrument turns him off. He literally storms out of the Anne's room after she points to him that music is what makes her real and composed in scenarios which would have otherwise made her mad. However, Anne is a persistent lady who is not ready to give up what she felt for him on the first day.
Things turn unexpected, when Anne decided to call him and lay everything on the line. Though long-thought out, this is the best decision that Anne would ever make in her life, both for herself and her son, Dino.
Through out the novel, it is apparent that Nate awkward reaction is traceable to betrayal by her former fiance, Viola who ran away with one of the musicians who were actually to perform on their wedding. Nate couldn't take this, and he opted to stay away from relationships and focus on the family business, not until he ran into a STRIKINGLY beautiful and inviting lady, Anne who was also trying to recover from heartbreak, after being dumped by her boyfriend.
Anne helps Nate to find that music talent within him. Eventually, Nate was able to distinguish music from some people who apparently made her sick during his earlier years of relationships.
Graham also uses a good sense of humor throughout the novel which serves as an icing on the cake! A must go for novel
